Jump In is an upcoming danserye on GMA 7.

Party Pilipinas is searching for aspiring dancers to star in the said series. Auditions are open to all male and female dancers, 16 to 21 years-old, single performers or mixed-member dance crews (max of 8 members). Applicants are required to bring their own music and only the first 100 Boys, 100 Girls, 50 Crews will be accepted. Here are the audition schedules and venues:

Mara Clara fans cries over death of Mara on YouTube

A YouTube video of a little girl crying over the death of Mara is starting to go viral.

As of posting time, the said video has almost half a million views. The poor girl was really devastated when she learned that Mara died while watching ABS-CBN’s primetime drama series, Mara Clara. Meanwhile, ABS-CBN hinted in a press statement that they will be giving a new and bigger project to Kathryn Bernardo (Mara) thus the death of her character.

SexBomb Dancers guested on Happy, Yipee, Yehey!

All-female dance group “Sex Bomb Dancers” guested on ABS-CBN’s noontime show “Happy Yipee Yehey,” last March 5.

The show’s hosts Mariel Rodriguez, Toni Gonzaga, Randy Santiago and John Estrada were excited with the development. Although it was just a guesting, the group was reportedly dropped from Happy Yipee Yehey’s rival, the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines, “Eat Bulaga.” The reason for dropping them was “conflict of interest” according to the group’s manager, Joy Cancio.

Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak is an upcoming drama series on TV5.

Members of its cast include Ruffa Gutierrez, Richard Gomez, Phillip Salvador, Sheryl Cruz, and Valerie Concepcion. “This is a story about power and fame. This is a story about young women who wanna become famous.” revealed Ruffai Gutierrez. This is TV5′s second dramaserye after Babaeng Hampaslupa.

Erich Gonzales as Maria del Barrio – ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN is set to do a Filipino adaptation of the 1995 hit Mexican telenovela “Maria del Barrio.”

Erich Gonzales will play the lead role while Enchong Dee will play her leading man, Luis Fernando. “I’m very privileged na maging parte ng ‘Maria la del Barrio,’” said Enchong.

GMA-7′s Amazing Cooking Kids Auditions

Here are the audition schedules for GMA-7′s upcoming reality show Amazing Cooking Kids:

March 5 and 6 – SM Hypermarket Fairview (Annex) from 10AM to 6PM
March 12 and 13 – SM Hypermarket Sucat from 10AM to 6PM

Requirements: Kids aged 9 to 12 years old and aspiring to be cooks someday, precooked signature dishes good for two people, birth certificate (original and photocopy) and 4 photos (2 ID pictures, 1 whole body shot and 1 close up shot).

Mula Sa Puso is an upcoming primetime drama on ABS-CBN.

This 2011 remake is based on the 1997 original TV series of the same title. It will be topbilled by Lauren Young, JM de Guzman, and Enrique Gil. Members of its cast include Dawn Zulueta, Eula Valdes, Devon Seron, Helen Gamboa, and Ariel Rivera. It will be directed by its original director, Wenn Deramas.

GMA 7 Presents: Ang Spooky Mo! Presents Bampirella

Ang Spooky Mo! Presents Bampirella an upcoming horror-comedy on GMA 7.

It will be topbilled by Marian Rivera. “Ano ‘to, horror-comedy, e. So, papangit ako dito, magiging bampira ako. Bampira ako pero takot ako sa dugo, yung mga ganun!” explained Marian. It also stars Mikael Daez. It premieres in March.

Two Fil-Ams make it to American Idol 2011 Top 24

Two Fil-Ams reportedly made it to the Top 24 of the 10th season of American Idol (2011).

They are Clint Jun Gamboa and Thia Megia. Rounding up the top 24 are Brett Lowenstern, Jovany Barreto, Jacob Lusk, Paul McDonald, Robbie Rosen, Stefano Langone, Jordan Dorsey, Tim Halprin, James Durbin, Casey Abrams, Scotty McCreery, Naima Adedap, Julie Zorilla, Karen Rodriguez, Lauren Turner, Kendra Chantelle, Ashton Jones, Rachel Zevita, Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina Suddeth, Pia Toscano, and Ta-Tynisa Wilson.

GMA 7 - Presents Sisid

Sisid is an upcoming drama series on GMA 7.

Members of its cast include Dominic Roco, Jackie Rice, JC Tiuseco, Ian Batherson, and Bembol Roco. The series is currently on hold because Jackie Rice is having a difficult time learning how to swim. “May trauma po yata siya sa tubig… Kaya alalay lang po kami sa kanya kapag nagti-training.” Dominic said. The lead casts had to take up lessons on scuba diving and swimming for their roles in this series.
