Roxanne Cabanero leaves Bb Pilipinas for alleged photos/pictures

Bb Pilipinas hopeful Roxanne Cabanero is out of the 2011 Bb Pilipinas pageant over her alleged n*ude photos or pictures.

Photos of a certain Raina who looks like Cabanero have been circulating on the internet and it was actually Cabanero who approached Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated (BPCI) to report the incident. She was then surprised when she was asked by a BPCI lawyer to just drop from the pageant. Roxanne has denied that she is the girl in the pictures. “Nang tinignan ko, parang gumuho ang mundo ko dahil hindi ako iyon,” she reportedly said.

Actress Marian Rivera is on the cover of the March 2011 issue of Mega Publishing Group’s Inside Showbiz Magazine.

She tops the magazine’s list of the 25 Sexiest Women in Showbiz. Marian’s upcoming projects include the horror-comedy Bampirella and the epicserye Amaya, both on GMA 7.

Meet Filipino-Swiss racer Marlon Stockinger

19-year-old Filipino-Swiss racer Marlon Stockinger is a full-fledged Formula One racecar driver.

He was born on April 4, 1991 in Manila, Philippines and his full name is Marlon Alexander Stockinger. He is the first Filipino to win a Formula race in Europe. He began his motorsports career at the age of 9. His favorite Filipino dishes are Pancit, adobo, and sinigang.

Enchong Dee facilitates meeting of Kim Chiu and Simon Atkins

Enchong Dee reportedly facilitated the recent meeting of Kim Chiu and Simon Atkins.

Enchong was a champion swimmer when he was still a student at De La Salle University (DLSU). His swimming coach called him up to ask him to introduce Simon to Kim. Kim has yet to comment on how her first encounter with Simon went.

Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez Impeachment Starts

The justice committee of the Philippines’ House of Representative has started the first impeachment hearing against Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez at past 10AM today.

Gutierrez was not present in the hearing but was represented by her lawyer Anacleto Diaz. Diaz said that his client will not “avoid or skirt the proceedings.”

Ronald Singson resigns as congressman

Ronald Singson has resigned as congressman of the first district of Ilocos Sur.

A one-page resignation letter was presented to Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. by Ronald’s father, Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson. He said that he was resigning not because of pressures from his fellow congressman but as a fulfillment of his promise to his father. Ronald was found guilty by a Hong Kong court of trafficking cocaine for his personal use and was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
